Spectator

As Design UI President, I took on an app redesign for University of Iowa Alumni and their application "Spectator". Their application follows high school sports around Iowa--an application that was lacking until now. My job was to incorporate classic sporting elements, and create a unique and inviting design for Spectator. I choose a jersey knit background, and used a sporting icons to indicate individual teams' colors. I focused on basketball and football for this app--creating individual icons for each. Finally, I created several pages/layouts that were easy to follow with a clean and classic look.

While I have contributed to dozens of logos during my time at Design UI, these two individual logos are my own designs that were not a collaboration by the design team. Hawkeye Musicians was a club of jazz orchestra members that wanted a logo design for t-shirts and posters. While the University of Iowa Sociology club wanted their logo for all of their promotional material, including t-shirts and posters for conferences that the University of Iowa would attend. 

Speakeasy posters are a standard project for the Design UI team. Twice a semester Speakeasy comes to us for a unique and creative poster for their event. Here are just a few of the designs that I created personally for their event.
